How This Scam Works

- 3A link leads to a fake banking website that looks authentic
- 4You enter your login credentials, card details, or OTP

Red Flags to Watch For
- Banks never send KYC links via SMS or email
- Urgent deadline threatening account closure
- Link URL doesn't match the bank's official website
- Asking for full card number, CVV, or PIN
What to Do If You're a Victim
- Visit your bank branch in person for KYC updates
- Never click links in SMS messages from banks
- Forward suspicious SMS to your bank's fraud number
- File a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in
